Talks, Workshops & Professional Consulting

Understanding autism is teamwork: parents, school, daycare (Kita) and youth services all pull in the same direction – when everyone shares the same basic understanding. That is exactly what my practical talks, workshops and professional consulting are for.

For educational institutions and professionals

I support schools, daycares (Kita), therapeutic day centers and youth service providers with professional input that works in everyday practice:

  • Workshops and team training on autism-informed support in everyday educational settings (e.g., homework and mealtime situations, transitions, preventing escalation)
  • Case-based consulting on individual children – including concrete, written recommendations for the team to act on
  • Support with Hilfeplangespräche (assistance-plan meetings with the Jugendamt, the youth welfare office) and collaboration with the Jugendamt
  • Practical materials and handouts you can use right away

For parents and families

  • Talks and parent evenings on autism and ADHD – clear, down-to-earth and free of jargon
  • Seminars on body-based self-regulation (Tellington TTouch for you®)

My approach

Every offering brings together three perspectives: my professional training as a certified autism specialist (complemented by the BBWAZ certificate course "Autism and Work"), my scientific background in biomedicine – and the lived experience of being a mother of two neurodivergent children.

Behavior is communication

My guiding principle: behavior is communication. Children on the autism spectrum don't need fewer rules – they need support that fits them better.

Professional training

Certified autism specialist – solid, autism-specific expertise; plus the BBWAZ certificate course "Autism and Work."

A scientific eye

With an M.Sc. in Biomedicine, I put diagnoses, studies and therapy options into professional context.

Lived experience

Mother of two neurodivergent children – I know the diagnostic journey, assistance-plan meetings and everyday crises from the inside.
